Hi and welcome to DJ's Candles & Soaps,

I started making candles in 2003 when a simple cold virus attacked and partially destroyed my olfactory organ (this is the organ that you smell with).  I have always loved candles but could no longer smell the ones from the stores.  They just were not strong enough for me to be able to smell them and I also hated wasting money on candles that tunneled down the middle leaving lots of wasted wax on the sides of the jar.

So I started making candles for myself with my own blend of soy waxes, premium fragrance oils, and essential oils that produced a candle that was strong enough for me to smell and burns great without tunneling down the middle.  Soon friends and family were asking me if  I would make some for them and DJ's Candles began.

Since then we have expanded into wonderful bath and body products including our fantastic Soy & Shea Body Cream and Goat's Milk & Honey Lotion.  Everyone who tries these at our shows buys them!  These products sell themselves and we have many repeat customer who won't use anything else.  They leave your skin feeling incredible with a soft, silky, powdery feel.  Never greasy!

My family has been using Goat Milk Soap for many years so I started making it myself and after testing a lot of recipes, I formulated one that we love and I think you will too.
