Candle Burning Tips
1. When you light your jar candle for the first time, burn for at least two hours, or until the melt pool completely stretches across the top of the candle. This first full burn will set the candle’s memory, and will help prevent wick tunneling in future lightings.
2. Each time after the first lighting, always burn until the candle liquefies to the edge of the container. Not letting the candle liquefy to the edge also results in tunneling. Does best if burned 3 or 4 hours each time.
3. You may notice some mushrooming of the tip of the wick; this is normal for natural wicks. Be sure to trim the wick after it cools to 1/4" before each burn to avoid high flames and soot. Do not leave the trimmings in your wax.
4. Keep burning candles away from children and pets.
5. Place all candles on a flame-resistant surface as the jars will get hot. Never pick up or move a burning candle.
6. Burn candles for no more than 4 hours at a time; never leave a burning candle unattended!
7. Do not burn a candle that has less than ˝" of wax in the bottom of the container.
8. Please keep the wick in the center of the jar.
